Hi, I may not post here as much as could have but that doesn't mean I'm A.F.K.! I've taken a step back from drawing, at least making stuff to put on the internet. A lot of what I've made in the past year since the last digital one has been practice or just ideas that haven't come to full fruition, whether that's giving up on a piece or just feeling comfortable keeping it to myself.

Instead, I've focused on other creative projects. Namely with Street Fighter 6, I've been posting nominally edited videos and clips on Youtube. Nothing serious but I've had more of an output there than here. I do intend to draw for stuff on there so feel free to check it out while those are in the works.

Here's the Link, I hope to see you there!

Happy New Years, everyone! I hope you guys had a good week and what not. I'm here to tell you guys about some links and stuff that might help and interest you.

First of all, Newgrounds has a list of creator resources that the site can direct you to, this ranges from software recommendations, royalty-free music, and guides to voice acting. So if didn't know it was here and you're in the market for any of these things, check out the creator resources page, linked here.

With that being said, let me give you some personal links that you might be interested in.

CSS Tutorials

Color References for CSS ----- Not necessarily for CSS, just a list of colors in general and their hex color codes.

Soundsnap ----- A website of sound effects

SoundFXCenter ----- Another sound fx website, but this has some video game/movie/tv sounds.

Blambot ----- Full of downloadable fonts

YouTube to MP3 Converter

Swivel ----- And of course, Swivel, which can be used to convert your .swf files

Sublime Text ----- A software for source code editing.

Celtx ----- A website to write scripts, make storyboards, and other things in production. But some of these things require payment. Scriptwriting is free if that's all you need.

Krita ----- A program for drawing and painting, it's what I use for my art.

Audacity ----- A program to edit music and what not.

Also if you are in need of references for characters, check out that franchise's wikis. Like if you need images of Mortal Kombat or Star Wars, those wikis have tons of images.

And on the hush hush, if you need some Pokemon Emerald cheat codes for your emulator, bang! Here you, go.

Hey everyone,

I decided to do an end of the year roundup blog, just to talk about my thoughts on the past year for me. This was what I consider the first year of the rest of my life, and its tough.

In most of the first-half of the year, I finished my second-year at community college, and at that point, I was done with school and wanted to take a break from it and get a job for the first time. Cut several months later to now and no progress on that front. I applied to different places and never really heard from them, or at least until a couple months later to be denied, wasn't even sure if I was even doing things right. But any who, that's that. I intend to finish and get my associates for the next Fall Semester in 2020, and from there, perhaps continue my education in animation or change majors. Other than that, I need to learn to drive and get my license. A lot of places I apply to ask for that and I didn't get it when I was first able to. My future is looking cloudy right now, but I'm hoping my luck would turn around and I get my shit together.

But to go on a high note, I'd say I didn't completely squander my time. I spent the year drawing, building a portfolio of amateur art. Not counting the crappy comic, I've posted 29+ images (some of which have been deleted) and one "proper" animation (not counting that half-assed 3d animation). I consider this past year in art successful in some capacity. I developed my art style, all the while having a lot of room to improve and experiment. I have a slew of ideas that I want to draw and materialize for you all, and in time, it will come in some way. I know no one is really looking for new art from me, but I am dedicated to make them. I hope for this next year, I get more eyes drawn towards the page and that I evolve from my simple art, to something to match my ideas. I also hope to get more involved in the community. I've always been very shy on the internet, never really posting anything to the forum or commenting on a post. That I want to change, so that these months don't feel like a lonely slog.

Anyways, thanks for reading through this whoever you are. I know not a lot of people would read this, I just wanted to get my thoughts out in the ether, kind of my way of venting, so it's good to know that someone felt the need to read through this. I hope you've been having an awesome and brilliant holiday season, and I'll see you in the 2020's. Love Ya!
